But for the first time, we are going to perform beyond Kolkata that is in Bangalore, where we are being invited by Kaushikda. We hope with the grace of Maa Durga, we get the shakti to perform well and rise to the occasion," said Krishna.
The entire event has been imagined and will be executed by Kauushik Rahul Ghosh and his group.
A few of the famous puja associations of Bangalore, like Sarathi Socio-Cultural Trust, Begur Bengal Cultural Association, North Bangalore Bengali Association, Anandamoyee and RT Nagar Sarbojanin Durgapuja Samity, have come forward in association with Kauushik to bring to life this idea. "For the first time, theme puja pandals will be made at Bangalore for Bengali samity and barowari pandals, where the barowari committee has actively participated to collect raw materials to puja ingredients," shared Kauushik.
This effort to provide a new essence to the pujas is being applauded.
The winner of a music reality show on TV, singer Arkadeep Mishra, will tap into the baul tunes and other folklore of Bengal. This is sure to draw the crowd to the performances on stage at the Bangalore cultural hubs where Durga Puja takes place . He will make the on-lookers groove to the popular folks songs like Dil Ki Doya, Bahero, Ma Eseche Ghore , Bolo Bolo Dugga Maiki, among others. Folk-based cultural programmes are to take centrestage at lesser-known Durga Puja pandals in Bangalore.
Singers Dipayan Banerjee, Sirsha Rakshit, Sujoy Bhowmik and Manasi Ghosh will also perform at various pandals in Bangalore.
